Spiritual Significance

The Deepam (lamp) is one of the most sacred offerings in Hindu worship – the offering of light (Deepa) to the deity, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and ignorance and the illumination of divine knowledge. The Apple Deepam is specifically designed for camphor (Kapoor) burning during Aarti – camphor burns completely without residue, symbolising the complete surrender of the ego to the divine. This Deepam is especially significant during Karthigai Deepam, Diwali, Navratri, Shivaratri, and daily Sandhya Aarti.

Why Choose This?

• Larger 4 inch size with 2.1 inch base – more prominent altar presence than the 3.8 inch variant
• Removable conical star-cutout lid for beautiful light and smoke diffusion during Aarti
• Central wick pin in bowl for secure camphor or wick placement
• Sturdy flared pedestal stand with ring detailing for stable altar placement

Vastu & Placement Guidelines

Place the Apple Deepam on a clean, elevated surface in your puja room facing east or north. Light camphor (Kapoor) in the bowl and place the conical lid on top during Aarti. The star cutouts allow the sacred light and fragrant smoke to diffuse beautifully. After use, allow to cool completely before handling. Store in a dry place away from moisture.

Perfect Gift For

• Karthigai Deepam, Diwali, and Navratri celebrations
• Daily Sandhya Aarti and home puja practitioners
• Housewarming (Griha Pravesh) and new puja room setup
• Weddings, naming ceremonies, and auspicious occasions
• Premium gifting for devotees and puja room collections

Care & Maintenance

After use, allow the Deepam to cool completely before handling. Wipe the bowl clean with a dry cloth to remove camphor residue. Clean periodically with a paste of tamarind or lemon juice mixed with salt to restore the natural brass shine. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbers. Store in a dry place away from moisture.
