Brass Ashtalakshmi Uruli – 8.5 Inch Handcrafted Brass Sacred Offering Bowl
This magnificently handcrafted Brass Ashtalakshmi Uruli is a deeply sacred and ornate South Indian pooja vessel that brings the divine blessings of all eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi into your home temple or pooja room. The Uruli (Urali) is one of the most iconic and auspicious vessel forms in Kerala and South Indian tradition — a wide, shallow round bowl traditionally used for floating flowers, oil lamps, and sacred offerings during pooja, festivals, and auspicious ceremonies. This exquisite piece features a large, wide, shallow round bowl with a beautifully polished golden interior, the interior floor engraved with an intricate central lotus/star medallion surrounded by all-over floral scrollwork, the interior rim adorned with evenly spaced round decorative ball/dome knobs. The exterior side wall features a band of beautifully detailed Ashtalakshmi figurines in high relief within circular arched niches — Goddess Lakshmi in all eight sacred forms — separated by dense floral repoussé scrollwork, all mounted on small decorative elephant-head feet (Gaja Pada) at the base. The Uruli features a bright polished golden brass finish on the interior with antique dark patina on the exterior, giving it a rich, temple-quality two-tone aesthetic. Crafted from premium quality brass, this substantial Uruli weighs approximately 840 grams with dimensions of 3.8 inch (H) × 8.5 inch (L) × 8.5 inch (B).
